Jennifer Strang DC, DABCA
Dr. Jennifer Strang obtained her Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from National University of Health Sciences where she graduated with honors and as valedictorian of her class. While enrolled at NUHS, she attended numerous post-graduate seminars on nutrition, alternative thyroid disorder analysis and treatment, and Kinesio Taping techniques. In addition to these, she furthered her understanding of biomechanics and spinal manipulation techniques through attending Motion Palpation Institute workshops. She also holds a diplomate in acupuncture, a post-doctoral degree specializing in traditional Chinese medicine techniques and treatment.
Dr. Strang was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, and received her undergraduate degree from Transylvania University, where she majored in Biology and minored in English. Her coursework aligned with the requirements established for obtaining a pre-medical education. It was during this time that she became introduced to physical therapy and chiropractic care, both of which sparked her interest in pursuing a career in alternative medicine.
Dr. Strang strongly values the importance of continuing education and frequently attends seminars to further her knowledge so that she can provide her patients with high-quality care and the most recent therapies.
Dr. Strang enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions ranging from musculoskeletal-based disorders to more internally based conditions such as allergies, digestive complaints, and endocrine-related disorders. She utilizes nutrition, acupuncture, and supplementation in addition to traditional chiropractic care to further assist her patients in achieving their optimal health holistically. She strongly believes that every patient should be viewed as a whole person, rather than an amalgam of symptoms. She is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the Illinois Chiropractic Society and the American Board of Chiropractic Acupuncture.
